Also, make sure you keep and eye open for more announcements about Kirby's residency including some cool coupon deals!

"Baltimore-on-the-Air" O CANADA Open Mic!

Hello all you fine ladies and gentleman! It is I, Matt Tobin, 1940s co-host of the hotsy-totsy open mic "Baltimore-on-the-Air".
Next weekend is Canada day, and on Wednesday July 4th, we'll be having an all Canadian themed open mic! What this means is anyone wishing to perform must perform great Canadian songs! I hear in the year 2012 you all like a popular group called "Nickels Back" and "Justin Beeber".  Maybe you could play some cover songs by those (I'm sure) fine and well-mannered folk.  Or, if you play original compositions, those are also Canadian! So play away!
Even though July 4th is technically American Independence Day, we feel it only right to "stick it to 'em with some good ol' Northern Sounds" (as my co-host Jessica Bobbie would say).
I've also been informed that in the future you write letters to each other electronically.  So, you can "e-mail" The Baltimore House if you'd like to sign up to play open-mic by "e-mailing" ontheair@baltimorehouse.ca.  Please include your name, and what time you wish to play.
We look forward to hearing your takes on great Canadian music! It's sure to be the cat's meow!
